Benton Day Camp
Covid-19 Procedures
Benton Day Camp will follow State, county and GSOSW guidelines for Covid-19. Day Camp procedures may change when camp opens July 19. Currently the following will be observed.
Covid-19 Waiver
Every camper and volunteer must complete and sign the GSOSW Council Covid-19 Release Waiver which is part of the Registration Form.
General
The following will be observed during our outdoor check-in/out, well-ventilated transport and camp activities:

Face masks if desired

Social distance guidelines for outdoor activities
Check-In
Every camper and volunteer will be screened upon check-in. Daily screening involves:

Answering a series of questions related to COVID-19 symptoms, exposure, etc.

Temperature check
Transportation
Campers will be transported to Rock Creek Campground via school bus

Number of campers per bus will be determined by current Covid-19 guidelines

Campers will travel with their Day Camp unit

Seating will be staggered with one individual per seat

Family units may travel together
Camp Activities

Campers will participate in activities in their same separate unit all week
