Volunteer Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age

  • Register as an adult Girl Scout (via our Benton Day Camp Volunteer Form)

  • Current GS Background Check -- We will notify you if yours has expired

Volunteers can be fathers, mothers, leaders, college students, young career, friends, neighbors, retired adults . . .

All volunteers, staff and Program Aides must demonstrate the following 5 characteristics:

  • Positive Attitude

  • TEAM Player (Together Everyone Achieves More)

  • Manages emotions appropriately

  • Respect Authority

  • Appropriate Language
